Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and reporting patient progress by maintaining open communication with physicians and the healthcare team regarding clients' needs, concerns, and treatment progress.

• Documenting clinical findings and therapy sessions accurately and promptly, adhering to department policies and electronic health record standards.

• Engaging in the development of tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments, ensuring these plans are continuously updated according to client needs and progress.

• Providing crisis intervention services and therapeutic counseling to clients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Coordinating care by assisting clients with discharge planning and service access, collaborating closely with community resources and providers to facilitate seamless transitions.

• Consulting with clients’ family members and support systems to ensure their involvement in treatment and discharge planning processes, fostering a supportive network for client success.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse population comprising adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to relational issues and trauma. You will leverage your skills to foster positive therapeutic relationships, employing a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to individual client needs. Your work will emphasize not only immediate symptom relief but also long-term strategies for coping and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required, along with a current LMFT license.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a licensed therapist in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic modalities and client engagement.

• Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical record systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
