Department Bio - The office of Alumni Relations lead the university's efforts to strengthen and promote an invested alumni community that inspires lifelong loyalty and advances GW. We engage a diverse, lifelong and worldwide community of more than 320,000 alumni in over 150 countries through several benefits and services.
Position Specific Summary - We are seeking a student with availability during the summer, through the fall and spring semester working 20 hours. In this role, students will support the Alumni Relations team by completing administrative projects that contribute to team goals. Additionally, students will engage with alumni via email, phone, and in person while serving as the front desk receptionist.
Standard Position Description - The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the the office or department. Tasks may include: assembling materials, filing, photocopying, giving directions or information, responding to phone or email inquiries, scanning and/indexing documents, light data entry, and other general office tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.

Required Qualifications - This is an entry level position, little to no experience required, all training will be provided.
