Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000/year based on 30 clinical sessions per week Employment Type: Independent Contractor with full or part-time hours Schedule: Office hours: Monday-Friday 8am-7pm; flexibility to schedule minimum of 20 hours of availability within those time frames; 1-2 days of evening hours needed Location: This is a hybrid (greater than 50% in-person) role based out of Atlanta (Buckhead), GAThis position will be opening in September 2026. We are actively reviewing applications.Role SummaryThe hybrid Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.Licensed Therapist ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plansProvide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalitiesActively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goalsComplete timely and compliant clinical documentationMaintain an active caseload of minimum of 15 client sessions per weekParticipate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as requiredAdhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policiesCompensation & BenefitsCompensation: $60,000 - $80,000 as an IC based on 30 clinical sessions per weekBilling, credentialing, scheduling, and intake supportFlexible scheduling: Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-7pm; flexibility to schedule minimum of 20 hours of availability within those time frames; 1-2 days of evening hours needed; hybrid position with at least greater than 50% on-site required.RequirementsLicensed Therapist Required QualificationsActive, unrestricted license as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in GAMaster's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related fieldStrong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)Ability to provide therapy independentlyComfort using an EHR and telehealth platformsExperience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc)Experience in outpatient or group practice settingsAbout Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting:Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting is a compassionate, client-centered practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families move forward with clarity, resilience, and purpose.
