Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work. You will engage with clients primarily through teletherapy sessions, utilizing virtual platforms to conduct assessments, interventions, and follow-up care. While our outpatient clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we understand that patient needs may require some flexibility in your schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual client needs and formulate tailored treatment strategies.
• Provide evidence-based therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, adjusted to fit the varied needs of patients.
• Lead psychoeducational groups that foster community support and address common mental health issues, enhancing client engagement and understanding.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.
• Respond to clients in crisis by offering immediate intervention services and support, emphasizing safety and stabilization.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, treatments, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of treatment progress, enhancing both client support and compliance with legal standards.
• Contribute to team meetings and case consultations, sharing knowledge and insights to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest research and trends in mental health to continually refine your practice and improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Strong grasp of mental health disorders and familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities.
• Proven experience in performing mental health assessments and crafting comprehensive treatment plans.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group therapy in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a commitment to maintaining ethical boundaries.
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working as a mental health therapist, particularly in an outpatient or community health setting.
• Experience in leading support groups and psychoeducational sessions.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits
