Blue Bliss Counseling Services invites passionate and dedicated mental health therapists to apply for a full-time position as Licensed Mental Health Therapists. In this remote role, you will play a crucial part in delivering empathetic and evidence-based mental health services to diverse populations in New Jersey. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus to enhance your transition into our team.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge individual patient needs and create tailored treatment plans that emphasize evidence-based approaches.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, to support patients in overcoming their challenges.
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups that foster community and allow patients to share their experiences with one another.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including the coordination of treatment modalities.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services when necessary, guiding patients through acute mental health crises with compassion and effectiveness.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, proposing viable treatment options and available community resources for additional support.
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.
• Actively engage in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall service delivery and professional development.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research, incorporating new methods to improve efficacy in your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. Each patient brings unique needs and experiences, and your ability to adapt your therapeutic techniques to these differences will be vital in promoting positive outcomes. Through telehealth, you will break geographical barriers and offer support to clients throughout New Jersey who may face difficulties accessing traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New Jersey.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated capability in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Experience working with various populations, providing both individual and group therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Sound judgment in maintaining professional ethics and boundaries while navigating complex patient interactions.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is essential, along with strong computer literacy.
• A collaborative mindset that values teamwork and shared learning within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient or telehealth setting is highly desirable, as it prepares you to navigate the dynamics of remote therapy.
• Additional certifications in specialty areas, such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse therapy, will be considered an asset.
