Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing our mental health therapists to work from home, providing flexibility and avoiding commute challenges. However, therapists will also have the opportunity to engage with colleagues and collaborate with other mental health professionals in an outpatient office setting as needed. Our practice champions a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere that promotes ongoing professional development and a work-life balance, with a work schedule primarily set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As a licensed mental health therapist with Constant Support Psychotherapy Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to evaluate individual needs, symptoms, and psychosocial factors affecting patients' mental well-being.
• Developing customized, evidence-based treatment plans which may incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or other suitable modalities.
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, effectively utilizing various therapeutic approaches tailored to client preferences and needs.
• Leading psychoeducational groups and support sessions that cover prevalent mental health issues, helping to foster a sense of community and resilience among participants.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Participating in crisis intervention and providing urgent support during mental health emergencies, utilizing professional knowledge and skills to stabilize clients.
• Educating clients about their conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and choices regarding their mental health journey.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and best practices.
• Engaging in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to remain current on industry trends and innovations in mental health care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated capacity to conduct detailed mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, both individually and in groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
• Adherence to professional ethics and boundaries, reinforcing the trust and respect necessary in therapeutic relationships.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-based environment.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have:

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or play therapy.
• Two or more years of post-graduate clinical experience, particularly with outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits
