Position Overview

Lighted Counseling Core, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic remote team. As a key member of our staff, you will engage in impactful counseling and therapeutic practices to improve the mental health and well-being of our diverse clientele. Your expertise as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mental health services.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home in Medford, Oregon, or elsewhere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostics of client mental health statuses to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, adapting therapy techniques according to each client's unique needs.
• Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with laws and ethical standards, documenting progress and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing care management for clients presenting with severe mental health issues or substance use disorders, ensuring continuous support.
• Participate in case consultations with a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment approaches and coordinate care.
• Contribute to the organization’s positive culture by actively participating in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
• Manage a caseload of clients while adhering to quality standards and demonstrating accountability for outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied clientele base, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and complex co-occurring disorders. Emphasizing cultural competence, our practice is dedicated to serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring respects for their unique experiences, perspectives, and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Possession of an active state license as an LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent credential recognized by state regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health practice, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building therapeutic relationships.
• Proficient problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex clinical situations.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with telehealth systems or online therapy platforms is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), can further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
