Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client’s mental health history, strengths, and concerns tailored to a school environment.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to deliver individual, family, and group therapy.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with specific goals and interventions that address both academic and personal development.
\n
• Collaborate closely with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to create integrated support systems for students.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops to promote mental health awareness among students.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention, comprehensive risk assessments, and develop safety plans for students in distress.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately and timely in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on serving students ranging from elementary through high school, many of whom face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. By addressing their emotional and psychological needs, you will play a pivotal role in fostering their overall well-being and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years' experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies focused on the school-aged population.
