Quick Facts Location: Brattleboro, VT Start Date: 05/29/2026 Duration: Permanent Shift: Full-Time Hours/Week: Standard hours Employment Type: Full-Time Licenses/Certifications: Medical License in Vermont (or eligible) Experience: Proven orthopedic surgical experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: Pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions using physical exams and diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT scan) Develop personalized treatment plans combining surgical and non-surgical methods Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy Manage pre- and post-operative patient care ensuring safety and recovery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, primary care, and rehabilitation staff Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a full-time orthopedic team Maintain accurate medical records documenting evaluations, treatments, and surgical outcomes Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team about diagnoses and care plans Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and apply best practices Engage in ongoing continuing education and professional development What You Need Medical license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain Minimum of X years of orthopedic surgical experience Proficiency in orthopedic surgical techniques Strong diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills Commitment to patient safety and ongoing professional growth About the Assignment This position is based at a leading facility in Brattleboro, Vermont, offering comprehensive musculoskeletal care.
