Payroll AdministratorOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their team in SE Houston. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in administration, data entry, accounting, or payroll who is looking to grow their career. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with confidential information, and have strong attention to detail.Responsibilities:Assist with processing payroll accurately and timelyEnter and maintain employee payroll and timekeeping informationReview employee hours, deductions, and other payroll data for accuracyAssist with new hire setup, employee changes, and terminationsResearch and resolve discrepancies in payroll and employee recordsMaintain accurate and confidential employee files and payroll documentationAssist with payroll reports and data entryRespond to employee questions regarding payroll and timekeepingAssist with payroll reconciliations and other accounting-related tasksSupport the payroll team with administrative duties and special projectsEnsure payroll information is entered accurately and in a timely mannerPerform other payroll and administrative duties as assignedQualifications:1+ year of administrative, data entry, accounting, or payroll experiencePayroll experience is a plus but not requiredStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working with numbers and large amounts of dataStrong data entry and computer skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive informationStrong communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness to learn payroll processes and systemsAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
