Key Responsibilities\n

The Bilingual LMFT will be responsible for:

• Conducting individualized in-home therapy sessions and group therapy at our community clinic, focusing on actionable therapeutic strategies.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based interventions such as anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training, tailored to mitigate high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious behavior and physical aggression.
\n
• Enhancing decision-making skills for both youths and their caregivers to effectively manage in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Collaborating with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to develop cohesive treatment plans and share insights about each child’s progress.
\n
• Accurately documenting all therapy sessions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings, sharing insights, and submitting recommendations based on observations and client feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children with developmental and intellectual disabilities aged 3-20, along with their families. The successful therapist will engage with diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly providing services to Spanish or Portuguese speaking families. By leveraging bilingual skills, the therapist will ensure effective communication and culturally sensitive care for a varied client base.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license, allowing for practice in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours of 4-7 pm; weekend availability is strongly desired.

• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-person meetings.
\n
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

While the base qualifications are crucial, we highly value candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits\n
