Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for individuals facing end-of-life issues, identifying psychosocial needs and emotional concerns.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the unique experiences of hospice clients, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Implement and periodically review treatment plans to ensure they remain effective and relevant to patients’ evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in regular supervision and training sessions to further refine clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support patients within a hospice setting. You will work closely with individuals experiencing serious or terminal illnesses, along with their families, addressing complex emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Aria Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
