Job Duties

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and develop tailored therapy strategies to support them in achieving their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nurses to ensure a holistic approach to care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing improvement at home
• Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
