Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport and maintaining professional ethical standards throughout therapeutic relationships.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to evaluate their therapeutic progress, identify areas for improvement, and discuss upcoming appointments, ensuring alignment with treatment goals.

• Develop and execute individualized, person-centered treatment plans that reflect the client’s preferences and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather pertinent information upon a client’s entry into care, facilitating appropriate treatment planning.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions weekly, adapting techniques to meet the evolving needs of clients.

• Participate in individual supervision sessions, providing an opportunity for reflective practice and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients at Somervell Consulting Clinic encompass a broad range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• At least one year of experience managing psychiatric patients and/or supporting substance abuse populations.

• Demonstrated expertise in assessment and diagnosis, as well as individual and group therapy.
