Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, to evaluate patients' health status.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, focusing on both chronic and acute health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies, to inform clinical decision-making.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in daily rounds, effectively communicating patient updates to the healthcare team and ensuring continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, preventive measures, and strategies for managing health conditions.
• Document all patient care activities concisely in the electronic health record, maintaining organization and accuracy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in surgical care and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will primarily care for adult patients undergoing surgical procedures, ranging from elective surgeries to more complex interventions. Qualifications
