Accounts payable specialist

A premier, global gaming and interactive entertainment powerhouse in Las Vegas is leveling up its corporate finance team!

We're seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist who knows QuickBooks inside and out to help power our dynamic studio operations, hardware distribution, and digital releases.

salary: $28.84 - $29.99 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter all incoming vendor invoices, licensing fees, software subscriptions, and developer bills directly into QuickBooks .
• Match invoices against purchase orders and receiving slips (for hardware/components) to ensure accurate pricing and quantities.
• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and bill payments using QuickBooks Online/Desktop integrated payment tools.
• Process employee expense reports, studio corporate card charges, and monthly vendor billings.
• Serve as the main contact for vendor inquiries; resolve invoice discrepancies, missing receipts, or billing holds promptly.
• Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and balance the AP sub-ledger against the general ledger in QuickBooks.
• Maintain vendor records in QuickBooks, collecting W-9s and ensuring proper setup for year-end 1099 processing.
• Assist with month-end closing by preparing AP aging reports, logging accruals, and double-checking account classifications.
• Organize and maintain digital documentation and receipt backups in compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide quick reporting support to the Accounting Manager during audits or budget reviews.
