Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to clients actively seeking ways to reduce stress, enhance relaxation, and achieve overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ specific stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, allowing for a tailored mindfulness practice that meets their needs.

• Guide mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques, empowering clients to cultivate self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, encouraging community support among participants.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to effectively address and alleviate clients’ specific mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and other healthcare providers to incorporate mindfulness into a comprehensive treatment plan focused on holistic care.

• Maintain precise documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions employed, and treatment plans to ensure high standards of care and accountability.

• Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice and self-reflection, alongside ongoing training to deepen your expertise in mindfulness-based approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, you will work primarily with adults facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and trauma. Your compassionate approach will help them navigate their mental health journey using mindfulness and therapeutic interventions that foster self-awareness and resilience, promoting overall life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, demonstrating your commitment to integrating mindfulness techniques into clinical practice.

• Proficient in developing and delivering therapeutic interventions characterized by mindfulness applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
