Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, including depression and anxiety.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate clients’ progress.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding treatment options, self-care strategies, and understanding mood disorders.

• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary medical teams to provide a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights, improve practices, and develop professionally.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our clientele is diverse, requiring a therapist who is adept at engaging with individuals from different backgrounds and varying levels of mental health literacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to enhance collaboration with medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
