Exciting opportunities are open for passionate Special Education Teachers committed to making a meaningful impact in students’ lives. These contract roles offer full-time hours at a vibrant learning center, supporting diverse learners in a highly specialized Setting 4 environment serving elementary through high school students. This assignment spans the academic year, beginning late August 2026 and continuing through early June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Proven experience working with students who have severe disabilities and demonstrate significant behavioral needs
• Skillful in de-escalation, behavior management, and creating individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with Setting 4 instructional and behavioral strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Prepared to provide resume and current licensure upon application

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with the highest levels of behavioral and academic need
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
• Create a safe, structured environment that enables growth and learning
• Collaborate with support staff, related service providers, and administrators to foster student success
• Consistently document progress and communicate with all relevant stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with state and district special education requirements
