Exciting opportunities await dedicated Special Education professionals seeking to make an impact across multiple school sites for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple full-time contract positions are available including Assessment, Behavioral, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) focused roles.

In these dynamic positions, you'll have the chance to support students at the elementary and secondary levels district-wide. Whether your expertise centers on comprehensive special education assessments, therapeutic/behavioral support programs, or instruction in ASD center-based settings, your skills will help foster inclusive, supportive learning environments for diverse learners.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid and active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 accepted, preference for Tier 3/4)
• Experience in one or more of the following highly valued:
  • Conducting special education evaluations, eligibility determinations, and assessment report writing
  • Teaching in therapeutic, Setting III/IV, or EBD environments; familiarity with trauma-informed practices and crisis de-escalation
  • Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in structured, center-based programs
• Strong capability in developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing classroom behavior
• Proven commitment to compliance standards (IDEA, state/district policies)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to student needs
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families
• Uphold compliance and documentation standards
