About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Permanent Housing to lead the strategic direction and planning of its growing portfolio of permanent supportive housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning and leading the permanent housing programs with the company's mission, vision, and values, and ensuring the use of a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to service delivery. This executive role involves overseeing housing compliance, leasing, and quality improvement divisions, as well as participating in strategic planning, program development, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management, strategic planning, and scaling affordable housing, with a focus on populations experiencing housing instability. Key responsibilities for the Vice President for Permanent Housing include achieving financial objectives, supporting teams through change, and developing strong relationships with outside partners. The role also requires the ability to monitor program performance, identify compliance risks, and work interdepartmentally to develop mitigation strategies. The candidate should be adept at building and managing government and community relationships, and contracts, and be prepared to take on additional leadership responsibilities as needed. A background in human services, particularly with vulnerable populations, and a commitment to the values of community, teamwork, accountability, and respect are essential for this position.
