Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings to craft personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Offer short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services for clients presenting with a broad spectrum of emotional and psychological concerns.

• Design and facilitate group therapy sessions and therapeutic workshops that address critical topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and personal growth.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and community organizations, to coordinate a holistic approach to patient care.

• Create and implement outreach initiatives, such as mental health awareness campaigns and community wellness events, to broaden the accessibility and understanding of mental health resources.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential clinical records in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring continuity of care and effective case management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your role will include addressing the unique challenges faced by these patients, particularly those connected to their experiences in the hospital setting. This understanding helps to tailor your approach and foster effective therapeutic relationships that enhance patient engagement and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Profound knowledge of mental health issues prevalent among hospital patients, and familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport with patients and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team.

• A capacity to function efficiently in a rapidly evolving environment, manage varied caseloads, and prioritize effectively under pressure.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment and familiarity with digital therapy tools and platforms.
