Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, providing a confidential and safe space for them to explore their emotions and thoughts concerning their alcohol use and mental health.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to assist clients in setting and achieving personal recovery goals.

• Regularly conduct assessments and progress evaluations to ensure client care is effective and aligned with their recovery journey.

• Embrace active listening and empathy, providing personalized feedback and encouraging clients to reflect on their experiences and feelings.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to provide comprehensive care to each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.

• Strong foundational skills in interpersonal communication, both verbal and written, with a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Social Worker. Five (5) years of experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in essential software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to facilitate efficient communication and record maintenance.
