Position Overview

The Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant will lead the implementation, configuration, integration, enhancement, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. The role will work closely with HR, payroll, benefits, talent, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and production support initiatives.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM Cloud functional solutions.
• Configure Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Workforce Structures, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, and Performance Management.
• Conduct discovery sessions, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional configuration.
• Develop business process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and solution design documentation.
• Configure enterprise structures, legal entities, business units, departments, jobs, positions, grades, locations, and other HCM structures.
• Support employee lifecycle processes including hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, terminations, and workforce changes.
• Design and configure approval workflows, security roles, data access, and HCM business processes.
• Develop and execute data conversion strategies using HDL, HSDL, and other Oracle-supported tools.
• Support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP services, and other integration technologies.
• Configure and support reporting and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle HCM reporting capabilities.
• Lead testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, defect documentation, and resolution plans.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot functional issues, and coordinate defect resolution with technical and business teams.
• Support quarterly Oracle Cloud updates by analyzing release notes, assessing impacts, coordinating testing, and implementing required changes.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance, IT, security, integration, and external implementation teams.
• Provide end-user training, prepare training materials, and support organizational change activities.
• Ensure HCM solutions comply with organizational policies, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in cutover, deployment, data validation, post-go-live stabilization, and hypercare activities.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, configurations, and support.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Core HR and multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and Oracle HCM Cloud architecture.
• Experience with Oracle HCM data conversion, HDL, HSDL, and data validation.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SOAP web services, or similar integration technologies.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, dashboards, reports, and analytics.
• Strong experience with Oracle HCM security, roles, privileges, and data access.
• Experience with end-to-end implementation methodologies and Oracle Cloud quarterly releases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle HCM Cloud certification in one or more HCM modules.
• Experience with Oracle Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, or Workforce Management.
• Experience integrating Oracle HCM Cloud with payroll, financial, ERP, benefits, identity management, and third-party systems.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies.
• Experience working in large enterprise or global HCM environments.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading functional teams and working with offshore/onshore delivery teams.
