Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, assessing their physical capabilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques such as exercise therapy, hands-on manipulation, and the use of specialized equipment to help alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Regularly document patient progress, treatment procedures, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and to make adjustments to therapy as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, redefining goals and strategies based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Assist patients in the selection and fitting of assistive devices when appropriate, ensuring a seamless transition to self-care and enhanced mobility.
• Provide patient education and training for individuals and their families regarding therapy techniques and the proper use of any prescribed modalities or devices.
• Maintain professional expertise through continuous education, attending workshops, and participating in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a varied demographic that includes children and adults suffering from diverse diagnoses, such as orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and post-operative recovery. We are specifically focused on providing support that encourages each patient to achieve their highest potential in a caring and empathetic environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current physical therapy state license is necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications.
• Highly adaptable, able to respond to varying patient needs and treatment environments.
• A current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a recognized program is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
