Bookkeeper-Party Teller

About the Role

Party Teller is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day bookkeeping needs of our growing retail business.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks and comfortable supporting multiple retail locations throughout the California Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks .
• Enter and categorize invoices, expenses, payments, and other transactions.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and assist with vendor payments.
• Perform bank and company credit card reconciliations.
• Review and organize receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile store sales, cash deposits, and payment records.
• Track expenses by store and department.
• Assist with basic month-end bookkeeping and financial reports.
• Work with the company's CPA/accountant and provide supporting documents when needed.
• Visit Party Teller stores in the California Bay Area as needed to review records, collect documents, or resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Experience with AP, bank reconciliation, and credit card reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Retail or multi-location business experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and be able to travel to Party Teller locations throughout the California Bay Area as needed.
• Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.
