Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations to understand clients' unique needs and document comprehensive case histories.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to refine treatment approaches and enhance client care.

• Provide referrals for additional services when needed and follow up on cases referred for inpatient care.

• Empower family members and caregivers by providing education and resources to help them support their loved ones through recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Applicants should possess a passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities, are essential for client engagement and collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor is highly desirable, ideally in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health records, especially AVATAR, is a strong plus.

• Experience with treating clients facing co-occurring disorders, including addiction and physical health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
