Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique remote work environment tailored to enhance flexibility and efficiency for licensed clinical social workers. Situated primarily in a remote hospice center setting, our LCSWs have the advantage of working from home while ensuring that they are fully equipped with the resources necessary for effective service delivery and family support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify each child’s unique needs.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).

• Monitor and evaluate developmental outcomes collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide essential support and coaching to families to optimize each child's development, ensuring evidence-based practices are utilized.

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with children and their families, cultivating a supportive environment.

• Adhere to all federal and state regulations to ensure compliance and best practices in service provision.

• Utilize natural learning environment practices to foster child growth and family engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically focuses on young children from birth to three years old who face developmental delays or disabilities. LCSWs in our team will implement strategies that assist these children in developing essential skills across various domains, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By working closely with families in a remote context, our LCSWs play a crucial role in helping to guide and support caregivers through a challenging yet rewarding period in their children's lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a LCSW by the Department of Public Health.

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience working with children in early intervention programs.
