Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care techniques to promote understanding and active participation in the healing process.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders.

• A thorough understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with prescribing psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive client outcomes in treating mood-related conditions.
