Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies for clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, integrating input from various healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. A focus on underserved populations will require culturally competent care and tailored interventions to meet varying needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.
