CGP: Cost Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $52 to $57 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain cost accounting records and analyze results.
- Help support a more complete reporting package.
- Work directly with operations for daily reconciling and analyzing positives.
- Construct in month end closing process.
- Support in creating policy and general ledger reconciliation.
- Assist with special projects assigned by management, including but not limited to inventory tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or advanced and cost accounting formal training
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel) and accounting data base Ledger based ERP system experience, Oracle Fusion is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with month end close, annual audit, budgeting, financial reporting.
- Exposure to full cycle accounting and operations.
- Detail oriented, organized and good time management.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
