Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and recovery goals of each patient entering the substance use treatment program.

• Create personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Deliver individual counseling sessions, using a therapeutic approach tailored to each patient’s circumstances, including addressing their specific substance use challenges.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that encourage peer support, sharing experiences, and learning effective coping strategies among participants.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and manage complex cases.

• Provide crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies, offering immediate assistance and resources to stabilize patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to build a strong support system.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing substance use disorders, providing support and guidance as they embark on their recovery journey. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in California.

• A strong foundational knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based recovery practices.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy within the scope of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on a non-judgmental, compassionate approach.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards in care.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
