Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while being integrated into our outpatient office team. Our remote counselors can fully engage with clients through secure electronic health records and telehealth platforms. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to enhance the client experience, whether in one-on-one settings or in group therapy formats.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
\n
• Document case progress meticulously from the initial consultation through the course of treatment, ensuring thorough record-keeping.
\n
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans catered to individuals, couples, families, and group settings.
\n
• Facilitate and manage both individual and group therapy sessions, employing appropriate therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate intervention strategies.
\n
• Manage referrals and provide relevant support resources for clients transitioning between care modalities.
\n
• Identify and proactively address any behaviors or obstacles hindering clients' recovery.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing tools and strategies to assist them with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with represent a broad spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, and trauma. Your interventions will aim to enhance their overall well-being and foster resilience in facing life's challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid license as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated ability to apply therapeutic methods effectively in clinical settings.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, facilitating efficient patient management.
\n
• Familiarity with addiction disorders, as well as concurrent physical and emotional health conditions affecting mental wellness.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective therapy delivery and documentation.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient or remote setting.

• Knowledge of the latest developments and best practices in mental health counseling, particularly those endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A comprehensive understanding of pharmacological interventions and their impacts on mental health.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
