Work Environment\n

The telehealth setting allows for flexible work arrangements, enabling you to provide therapy in the comfort of your own space while maintaining effective communication with clients through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Our practice hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Hear-A-Mind Inc., your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments using standardized evaluation tools to understand the unique needs of each patient.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions.

• Providing both individual and group therapy sessions, using therapeutic techniques that cater to the distinct needs of individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitating psychoeducational groups to support patients in understanding their mental health and developing coping strategies, thereby fostering a sense of community.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention services, ensuring prompt support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of all therapy sessions and treatment plans, in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care practices and share knowledge.

• Staying current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health to incorporate innovative strategies into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience making professional judgments pertaining to patient care.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management processes.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate experience in delivering both individual and group therapies to various populations, particularly those experiencing complex mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n
