Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) for full-time remote positions. Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a remote work setting, creating a flexible environment where therapists can balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our team members work standard hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. As our clinic serves a diverse client base, therapists will benefit from a collaborative work culture that values teamwork and communication.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, taking into account the diverse backgrounds and needs of clients, to formulate individualized treatment plans.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.
  • \n
  • Lead psychoeducational and peer support groups, fostering a supportive community among clients facing similar challenges.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure client safety.
  • \n
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions and discuss treatment options and available community resources.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
  • \n
  • Engage in team activities, including case consultations and professional development sessions, to enhance therapeutic skills and team effectiveness.

  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continuously improve treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, incorporating individuals from various backgrounds grappling with numerous mental health issues. Therapists will have the opportunity to work closely with children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring their therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of mental health disorders along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated capability to conduct detailed mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • \n
  • Experience providing therapy and counseling to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills geared toward building rapport with clients.
  • \n
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
  • \n
  • Competency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.
  • \n
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in mental health counseling.
  • \n
  • Experience working in a community health clinic or outpatient setting.

  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
