Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience working in elementary self-contained settings, preferably with life skills curriculum
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement modifications and accommodations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to nurture positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction for K-2 students within a self-contained classroom, focused on life skills development
• Adapt lesson plans to meet varied learning needs and abilities
• Collaborate with support staff, related service providers, and families to promote student success
• Track progress and maintain accurate student records, including IEP goals and behavioral data
• Create a safe, inclusive environment that encourages social, academic, and functional growth
• Engage in regular communication with caregivers to support continuity of learning
