Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately gauge clients' mental health needs and therapeutic goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices that align with each client's objectives.

• Provide engaging and effective individual therapy sessions for adult clients, employing solution-focused therapeutic modalities.

• Leverage teletherapy platforms to conduct virtual sessions, ensuring adherence to best practices for privacy and client engagement.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate intervention to clients requiring urgent support.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to remain current with mental health best practices, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current and valid license in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• A compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy, demonstrating a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage client appointments and documentation efficiently.

• No history of disciplinary actions on licensure.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting providing mental health therapy to adult clients.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools to facilitate virtual therapy sessions.

• Prior experience with crisis intervention or emergency response in a therapeutic context.
