Principal Engineer

Principal Engineer responsible for leading capital strategy programs and master plan development at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Directs engineering teams on facilities, utilities, and equipment capital projects while managing financial compliance and long-range planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive site capital long-range plans and annual capital plan management
- Lead engineering teams implementing facilities, utilities, and equipment capital projects
- Manage project controls, budgets, scope, and schedules across multiple concurrent projects
- Conduct economic analyses and feasibility studies for complex project alternatives
- Design solutions for novel or complex problems integrating regulatory and operational needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
- 8+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience
- Technical background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or biologics industries
- Demonstrated competency in financial systems, fiscal control, and project accounting
- Fluency in English and Spanish, written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with diverse groups
