Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist License
- Prior experience in special education and school-based environments strongly preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting students with a range of diagnoses and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and management as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student success
- Consult on behavior management and intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Provide counseling and consultation services to students in the special education population
