This position operates within a fully remote telehealth framework, allowing mental health professionals to deliver care via secure virtual platforms. Our flexible work setting promotes a healthy work-life balance, with office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As part of our team, you will engage in high-quality patient interactions from the comfort of your home office, utilizing advanced digital tools to assess, support, and monitor client progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with mood disorders, evaluating their symptoms to determine levels of severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and treat mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies to empower them in their journey towards recovery.

• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans based on individual progress and feedback.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all clinical interactions in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to continuously enhance your clinical skills and foster collaborative practices among team members.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues, ensuring a supportive therapeutical atmosphere.

Our practice primarily serves individuals grappling with various mood disorders, including major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Your role will be fundamental in creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and receive tailored support that addresses their needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for treating mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong collaborative skills, with an understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work in conjunction with psychiatrists and medical staff.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving positive outcomes in clinical work with mood disorders.

• Outstanding communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from a range of backgrounds.
