Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health to establish baseline data and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), fostering individual and group therapy sessions.

• Regularly monitor client progress, articulating adjustments and modifications to therapy based on feedback and observed outcomes.

• Create a safe and supportive therapeutic space that encourages clients to discuss their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors candidly.

• Facilitate consultations and referrals to additional healthcare providers as needed, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele who may present with a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your ability to navigate these challenges with cultural competence will be essential in fostering trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensing: Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Experience: A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency with a wide range of psychological disorders.
