Business Analyst

Technical Business AnalystPrimary responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst include overall coordination and follow up of requirements gathering for Data Management related projects, writing Business Requirements as needed for Agile projects, along with assisting in writing Technical Design and Data Lineage Documents. This candidate will also be responsible for tracking the progress of projects and related tasks, which will include tracking follow-ups from meetings, assessing the status of related JIRA tasks and coordinating planned releases.Responsibilities:Liaison between business users and technical teamSchedule business requirements sessions, document meeting minutes and track follow-upsWrite Business Requirement DocumentsAssist with Technical Design and Data Lineage DocumentsEnsure Technical Design addresses the Business RequirementsEffectively track the progress across projects and ensure business requirements are being followedCoordinate planned releases and send out release announcementsAssist in creating, tracking and following up on JIRA ticketsQualifications:4+ years working as a Technical BA4+ years working on Agile projects2-4+ years of SQL experience (Oracle and SQL Server, MongoDB a plus)4+ years of Data Analysis/Trouble shooting4+ years writing Business Requirement, Technical Design and Data Lineage DocumentsAbility to interpret business requirements into technical requirementsStrong Meeting FacilitatorMust be able to multi-task effectivelyGreat organizational skillsExcellent communication skills
