Kessler Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized team focused on providing high-quality mental health care to elderly patients. In this role, you will leverage your expertise as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to address a variety of psychiatric conditions affecting our geriatric population, including depression, anxiety, dementia, and various adjustment disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to the unique psychological and physical needs of older adults.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, aimed at addressing specific geriatric psychiatric conditions.

• Provide crisis intervention and responsive support during mental health emergencies that may involve elderly patients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education activities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
