Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of patients.

• Facilitate and adhere to evidence-based practices by utilizing screening tools and generating documentation that aligns with regulatory standards.

• Develop pre-crisis and crisis response plans, along with behavioral guidelines, medication treatment plans, and positive behavior support strategies.

• Actively engage in interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure cohesive support and implementation of behavioral support plans.

• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain the clinic's standards of excellence.
\n
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with external service systems, state agencies, and community partners to optimize patient care.

• Facilitate workshops or educational sessions for community outreach and help strengthen partnerships with local organizations.
\n
• Pursue continuing education opportunities, attending relevant conferences and participating in professional development activities to remain at the forefront of the mental health field.

• Promote the core values of Active Life Psychiatric Center throughout all interactions and programs.

• Perform additional responsibilities as delegated by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse population, including individuals seeking support for emotional challenges, those recovering from substance use disorders, and people with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Understanding the unique needs and backgrounds of each client is essential to providing effective care and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate Degree in a relevant behavioral health field is required.

• Must possess an active LMHC license issued by the state board of Washington.

• Proven ability to maintain accurate clinical records and produce comprehensive reports.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and compassionately.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
