Corporate Accounting Manager

Our client is an established and growing manufacturing organization seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join its finance and accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on with the numbers while also serving as a key partner to leadership and the broader organization. This is a hybrid position with plenty of flexibility for REMOTE work. The Corporate Accounting Manager will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and supporting the continued growth of the business. This position offers broad exposure across corporate accounting and the opportunity to work closely with the Controller, CFO, operations, and other members of the leadership team.What You'll Do as Corporate Accounting ManagerManage and oversee corporate accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end close.Lead an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules for management.Assist with consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities, locations, or business units.Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with GAAP and company policies.Research and provide guidance on technical accounting matters and complex transactions.Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Partner with plant accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial information.Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.Support the annual audit process and serve as a key point of contact with external auditors.Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and other financial planning activities as needed.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, systems, and automation.Support ERP improvements, system implementations, and other finance-related projects.Provide financial information and analysis to help leadership make informed business decisions.Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as the organization continues to grow.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and problem solver who looks for ways to improve processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
