Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV. This position is responsible for managing customer accounts, preparing and issuing invoices, recording payments, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records in the accounting system. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring aging reports, following up on overdue balances, performing debt collection activities in a professional manner, and resolving billing discrepancies with internal teams and customers. The specialist will communicate regularly with sales and operations to ensure accurate billing, apply credits and adjustments, reconcile customer accounts, and support month-end closing processes. This role also contributes to continuous improvement of receivables procedures to support healthy cash flow for the business. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to review aging reports, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies. Foundational knowledge in finance and accounting principles relevant to accounts receivable. Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders. Experience with invoicing processes, billing systems, and accurate transaction entry. Background in debt collection or payment follow-up, with a customer-focused and respectful approach. Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and Microsoft Excel. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV and collaborate effectively in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
