Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Harford Therapeutic & Anxiety Services, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a caseload of clients, fostering positive relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to understand the needs of new clients.
\n
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans centered around client goals and progress.
\n
• Engaging with clients in regular sessions to monitor their mental health status, addressing any concerns, and facilitating appropriate discharge when necessary.

• Documenting session notes and progress updates accurately within our electronic health record system to ensure streamlined and timely follow-ups.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to hone therapeutic skills and receive constructive feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from those dealing with anxiety and depression to individuals addressing substance abuse and other psychiatric challenges. Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
