Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will encompass a range of therapeutic and administrative tasks, including:

• Maintaining a manageable caseload of clients, fostering open communication to establish rapport and trust.

• Conducting regular sessions to review client progress, formulate stability strategies, and plan for potential discharge when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, with a strong focus on person-centered care.

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments and keeping meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment efficacy.

• Facilitating weekly individual therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, adapting techniques to fit virtual formats.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Counselor at Valley Point, you will primarily serve youth and individuals struggling with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. This position demands not only clinical expertise but also a compassionate approach that respects the individuality of each client, ensuring that all therapy is client-focused and empathetic.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas.

• Proficiency in meeting internal credentialing requirements related to telehealth practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
