Role Description The In Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. This position supports daily office operations, including answering phones, greeting clients, managing mail, and maintaining a professional front-desk presence. The In Office Assistant will handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, organizing documents, and updating client records. The role also includes scheduling appointments, coordinating calendars, preparing basic correspondence, and assisting with the setup and use of office equipment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with accounting staff to ensure efficient workflow, timely communication with clients, and a well-organized office environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for professional client interactions and clear internal coordination.
- Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills for scheduling, filing, data entry, document preparation, and general office support.
- Comfort with Office Equipment (printers, scanners, copiers, multi-line phone systems) and basic troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and personal information.
- Accountant student.
