Work Environment

As a full-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, you will work onsite at our modern medical facility, equipped with advanced dermatological technologies and resources. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and detailed patient assessments to evaluate skin conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies and imaging studies, to accurately assess dermatological issues.
• Prescribe and manage pharmacological treatments for a variety of skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections.
• Perform dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and minor surgical interventions, with an emphasis on aesthetic outcomes.
• Provide patient education on the prevention and management of skin diseases, including best practices for skin care and sun protection.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the electronic medical record system, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient data management.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to design and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Refer patients to specialists as appropriate, coordinating comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

You will be responsible for a diverse patient demographic, including individuals of all ages seeking treatment for various dermatological concerns. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in dermatology or a related nursing specialty.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas or the ability to obtain one.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in medical dermatology or similar clinical settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, conducive to building rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work autonomously while being an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
